On June 17, 2021 President Biden signed into law Juneteenth National Independence Day Act, S. 475, creating a federal holiday to commemorate Juneteenth. This is the first federal holiday approved since Martin Luther King Jr. Day in 1983.

Family Oriented Kiddie Corner

Our kiddie zone has many fun activities such as: a gas powered train, face painting and bounce houses with a special focus on science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM).

We provided more than 200 free meals to the children in attendance at the 2023 Central Florida Juneteenth Celebration.
